I'm having some problems backing up this game. I'm using a flip top with magic swap and have been able to back up games such as NBA Street and Ready to Rumble. I'm using Alcohol 120% on every disc and have used the step by step guide on how to backup ps2 games. However, with High Heat, the disc loads, I get a blue border (which means a good boot w/ the magic swap), but then just a black screen that lasts forever. I wanted to know if I needed to patch the game (even though its made by 3D0 and not EA) and if anybody had any suggestions.

    Thanks

First of all with the fliptop cover and the swap magic you don't need to patch any games, not even ea games. Try burning it at 1X speed(if you didn't already) and try burning it to the HD first (if you didn't already). Those two problems are you usually the cause for situations like yours. Goodluck!
