    Hey all,

I have a GM 5088 PC, and I am using the integrated sound that came with in. My issue is, when I use the front panel headphone jack I hear a horrible high pitched sound (with my headphones.) When I use the back jack, most of the sound goes away but I can still hear a rather faint high pitched noise. What's the deal?

I don't hear the sound at all using my Logitech Speakers.

PS: My headphones are Sony MDR-NC50 .

    Thanks, Moomoo2

Is this a normal headphone issue, or is the sound card just crap? IE: If I buy a new card, will it take away this issue?

try the speakers on the front panel headphone jack if you haven't already to see if it does it there. if no noise there than is not the soundcard but your headphones causing the problem.
