I recently sent in my Xbox 360 to be swapped out. The drive that was in my last system was a Samsung. I'm not sure what drive this thing will have in it. I was wondering just how big of a pain are these Hitachi Drives? The burner that I'm a using is a LG GSA-E10L. One other thing I'm needing a enclosure to hook my Samsung drive to my laptop. Does anyone know of a good one to use?

when first scene was underway, hitachi was notorius for pickness of media and burner, but later it was foudnb out that in fact it was not the drive, but the hacked FW. so everything is fine now.- just as good as samsung.

Its not wise to go on live yet with the Hitachi drives, the new ixtreme firmware will be out soon and then you should be ok.
