I searched a bit and couldn't find anything on the subject, well not neccessarily something that explained well. Sorry but i'm n00b at this. Can someone classify what these are?

Are Backup games when you dump the original game then burn the data onto an empty DVD-R (or something like that)?

Also, are homebrew games, games that you've downloaded online and then burn them onto an empty disc to play? Someone classify. Thx in advance.

Backup games can be dumped games or downloaded games.

Homebrew are programs created to run on the Wii that are not officially intended to run on it by Nintendo. (Emulators/GCoS/etc. etc.)
