Hello, I have done the search thingy earlier and couldn't really find anything that's recent about if/how there is a way to get homebrew on firmare version 3.01. I have read that there is an "upgrader/downgrader" but I guess I need a 62mb+ memory stick for that to work. The other thing I saw was that if you have a certain version motherboard that you can brick your PSP? I'm not very savvy with this kind of stuff, I just decided recently to pick up this sytem after not using it for months. I don't know which motherboard I have, all I really know is that it was the first generation shipped out. If anyone can help me and sort of link me/guide me that would be awesome. Thanks much.

to use homebrew u need to be on custom firmware

in order to do that u have to upgrade to 3.03

    downgrade to 1.50

    upgrade to custom firmware

    i believe a 32mb mstick is enough

but u also need unpatched gta: lcs

or if u have unpatched lumines then u can upgrade ur 3.01 to 3.50 then downgrade to 1.50

files can be retrieved from psp-hacks.com
