I just purchased an LCD television with RCA audio-out jacks. I've run RCA's from the television (audio out) to my harmon/kardon sound sticks (amplied speakers), but there's no sound. Why? I have my computer hooked to the same speakers and it works just fine.

Well, since Oct.3 you have probably figured out that there is a menu within your TV to control the audio output.
You can select Audio Out (Fixed); Audio Out (Variable); or TV Audio speakers.
Looks like you will not be able to run the built-in speakers + your H/K speakers at the same time...
    Regards
