How are memorex for ps2 backups ?

    they are ritek, which everyone, including myself, recommends.

    i like the verbatim digital media dvd's the ones with the funky movie reel graphics on the top, they work amazingly well, but i would never recommend memorex, i got some dvd+ and dvd- memorex's a lil while back and for some reason the -'s wouldn't work at all in my ps2, but the +'s did, just not as good as the verbatims.

    yeah, i've heard a lot of reviews about verbatum...second to none is what i've pretty much understood.

    I'm either gonna get them, or get the riteks that sly mentioned above.

    24 for 50 you cant go wrong. I have about 100 spindles lying around anyway... :)

    yeah, verbatim are the best, but are about 4X the price.

    I ve used memorex without a problem in my ps2, and in fact they work at 4x burn speeds... maxell,fuji and TDK dvds have all failed at those speeds in my ps2. I really believe its differes batch to batch.

    Yeah, you are correct. memorex vary GREATLY from batch to batch. Sometimes they use top quality dye, while other times they use the worst dye (cmc mag).
