I finally got my hdd hooked up to my wii as fat32, I copied everything from my sd card and pasted it onto my hdd and I tried to change the settings in homebrew but when I click on the usb device link and then click ok nothing happens and nothing loads until I put my sd card with everything back in the wii so even though I changed the settings to load usb device it's still loading from sd card and when I don't have the sd card in the wii nothing comes up. I tried restarting homebrew and the wii to see if that would help but it didn't. Actually, looking at it again it looks like homebrew doesn't even recognize the hard drive being plugged into the wii but games play from the hard drive with the usb loader. Thanks for any suggestions

Is the homebrew chanel running on ios 58 as this enables USB2 support I believe. if not install ios58 and then reinstall the homebrew chanel

If this is confusing, download modmii (google) run it on a PC and it will download everything you need to update your wii safely, inc a guide
