We bought it from an official supplier, but they could easily mix originals and fakes together, as I know you can buy copies of the hologram. And our hologram came as a sticker with the chip.

The chip itself just has numbers and writing on the main black chip.

    So how can I tell?

Well we only fitted it on Wednesday, but I didn't know what to look for. I'll try update once the non beta 1.9g is out. Cheers.
