I have Verizon Fios and looking at the router's port forwarding I see my son's system has set a bunch of ports for some kind of torrent. I once before found these ports and deleted them but today I found them back. I don't believe my son is smart enough to get into the router and make the changes. So I was wonder how many ways can torrnet ports be set up in a Verizon router? A trojan or virus? If no other way but by actually logging into the router, I need to talk to my son!

Well it really isn't that hard to get into a router. You may need to talk to your son and see why the ports are always open. The reason they are open, is so that the torrents sites can operate properly, downloading and uploading. It's not a virus or anything like that, it's most likely your son just changing the ports!
