i have FW 3.40oe-a and i can turn the cpu up to 333mhz and i want to know will it kill my psp if i keep it in this mode or can the psp keep itself cool enough to run in 333 mode and not die. secondly how much better will it make games or will it be minor improvments.

Overclock to 333mhz does not harm your psp in anyway. It was initially designed to run on 333mhz, but later downed to 222mhz for battery considerations. You can save a good 2 hours + running 222 instead 333. As for games, as long as it's not laggin, you should always run on 222mhz. You won't get any improvements running 333mhz.
