How do I burn a .RAR file for the PS2. It's about 3GB.
from what i know you cant, you have to burn the images to dvd.
A RAR file is an archived file, like a .zip. Use a program such as WinRAR to extract it's content. If it's a game, it will probably consist of an image file like an iso or cue, and that is what you have to burn.
I did and it did't become an .iso or .cue. It became an .nrg
An .nrg is Nero's method of a .iso. You have to convert it to an .iso and burn that to a DVD.
Go here for a file that will do it if you don't have Nero.
But it's about 4 Gigs.
it will still fit
normal Ps2 games are abt 4.2 to 4.6 gigs and a normal DVD can hold 4.7 gigs
Why do that when DVD Decrypter is a free program that can burn .nrg files? Burn the .nrg file to a dvd-r using DVD Decrypter.
Most ps2 games are less than 4GB. Dvd's can hold 4.38 GB worth of data.
@nrk4594, thank you for that information. I did not know that DVD Decrypter could burn .nrg files. I knew it can burn .ISOs to DVDs but, not .nrg's to DVDs.
Thanks for the useful info
