how do i check what mobo i have? (i want to upgrade my processor)

    so does it say on the bios something like "change cpu speed" or something like that?

    Just on a side not you can get infor like this by using a program called Everest. You can find this program listed on my profile page a part of my links.

    * Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor.
    * Graphic interface.

    Memory

    * Frequency and timings.
    * Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) : vendor, serial number, timings table.

    System

    * Windows and DirectX version.
