HOW DO I GET HALO 2 ONTO HARDRIVE, AND HOW DO I GET MODS ONTO HALO 2 AFTER THAT?

I'm a noob to modding, so i don't know much about it at all...i just got a softmodded xbox recently so post here if u can answer any of my questions in title

P.S. I know how to get live working after softmodding, but when i go to MS dashboard, and go to system link or whatever its called, the screen just goes back and stays black

for your p.s. problem you may want to acess your xbox through ftp and replace the files that you are having a problem with to repair the xbl issue
