I need the password so I can log into my router to do thr port forward thing.

The default password for this particular router doesn't work.

someone else set up my network I think maybe he set a password but I can't get a hold of him even if I can he probably forgot it.

So how do I get the password? help please.

Hit the reset button on the router then check the user manual for the default password.

It would just reset the router settings, Normally the default settings are all you need except for forwarding. In any case it's the only way your going to get in unless your buddy remembers the password. Im sorry :-( But it's also not the end of the world to get your network back up if it breaks at all.

edit still working on my spelling
