I got a new laptop and I have iTunes and I plugged in my iPhone, but how can I move the music already on the phone into the new iTunes music library?
    Additional Details:
So it won't erase the music already on the iPhone.
    I tried hitting sync~~

Check the "import" function. You import files/songs into itunes.
And don't auto sync, otherwise, iTunes will replace all iPhone existing songs.
I've suffered loss of all my iPhone music files. It's so upsetting.
There is a step by step instruction on how to transfer songs/music from iPhone to iTunes on PC.
Hope it can do you a favor.

Authorise you iTunes account on your computer and it will let you sync your purchases back to it. It's under the store tab at the top...

If the songs have been purchased from iTunes, right-click on the device and select 'Transfer purchases'. You can also use senuti(Mac) or copytrans to put your iphone contents to itunes.
