How do I play Japanese games on my US PS2?

    Hello !

    I'm a new member in need of help.

    I want to play a japanese game. that are in this format nstc-J well I think so.

    Is there any way to play one of this game with my U.S System?


    I'd really appreciate it any help!

    you needa mod chip or a swap disc i use swap magic 3.3 they work great.

    swap magic 3.3 is a set of swap discs that let you play imports and backups. you can use either the slid card or flip top i use flip top because it dosent put any strain on the disc tray.

    just install a modchip and you can play all the imported games you want. I recent just purchased a game from japan when I was there vacationing, and when I got back to the states, I just inserted the import game, and amazing it played just fine. the only thing I had to do was change the video to PAL for the colors to be adjusted correctly.

    so just get a modchip install

    i use the swap magic because i cant soulder but a mod chip works just as well it depends on what you want to do with your ps2.
