How do I put a file onto a DVD that will play in my DVD player?!

    You'll need to convert the file to dvd-compliant files, then use a burning app such as Nero to burn it in dvd-video mode.

    Not sure if your real media file is compressed to the point where if you convert it to dvd-video, it'll look like crap and/or with audio sync problems.

    There are several programs out there that will convert it for you. Some are free and some aren't.

    While it's easy and free (for now), it doesn't have the ability to create menus and the output might have audio sync problems. Depending on your file's fps.....

    Oh yeah, you need a dvd burner/write to actually to do the burning..

    Start off with a dvd-rw disc to see if your burns turn out good. Using crap media will no doubt cause playback problems.
