Can anyone tell me a program to use to compress or shrink a 700+ Meg AVI and/or ASF file to fit on a CDR, I have Nero RECODE, but that will only allow me to shrink an actual DVD source file, is their any other programs or software out there so I can stop using multiple disks. Also is their software that will split the large file into smaller portions for multiple disks?
    Thanks for the help!

Maybe you can try winavi video converter to convert your avi or asf file to vcd format first, and then burn them onto cdr disc.
By the way, you can get the winavi from its web http://www.winavi.com
