maybe u do have a brick afterall
i dont think its bricked you could have put it into sleep mode just before the game loads. try taking the battery out for 15 seconds putting it back in then starting it back up. What happens then? PSP's usually dont brick from loading games and or UMD's. If the problem persists after taking the battery then you might have one.
I pulled out the battery for a couple of minutes and the put back on, but when I turn it on nothing happens, power light nothing else and then it shut off, please tell me that I have not bricked my psp, I was just playing an ISO (wipeout Pure) I didn’t know that would brick my PSP, hot could this happened?
Did anyone drop it beforehand or something because psp's dont brick from playing an ISO game.
No, this is what happend:
1. The game loads
2. I press start
3. I ask for the name of the player
4. When I try to write I notice that is frezed
5. The PSP shut itself off
6. And now is dead.
NOTE: the ISO is in CSO format and I have used devhook emulating 2.71FW
that sounds bad
Mine wont even have a green light when i turn it on, could it be the battery? If i charge it, it still wont turn on.
First of all, congratulations for digging up an 8 year old topic. That takes archeological skills.
To answer your question: It could be anything. Normally even if the battery is dead and you try charging it the orange light still shows and you can boot the PSP. Could be your charger, could be a damage on the PSP's mainboard (water damage, shortening, corroding...). What PSP version are we talking about, 1000, 2000, 3000, GO, E1000?
