OK I'm getting a home network set up with a wi-fi router. I know just enough to probably get everything going and installing it but I don't know how to go online without a DSL line since the network adapter online has 2 inputs that are both for cords. Obivously I can't use a wireless card, buscard, so what I was thinking is to get a USB adapter but that doesn't directly interface with the Network adapter does it? I'm sure everyone playing online now doesn't have miles of cables running under their carpets. How do people deal with this problem or is everyone using dial-up for online play. Honestly the only game I'm thinking of going online for is MK:Deception and maybe FF11 if I can get the disc without the hardrive.

so I guess this means I have to buy the access point and I can't settle for the less expensive USB adapter right?
