From all of the Reports I have heard the Pinnacle Movie Box SuX Big time Like Most all Pinnacle consumer products...USB devices Suck In General But Pinnacles devices are even worse and it will Not remove the Copy protections on VHS tapes.....

If you have say $250 to spend on a Capture device I would say go for a Canopus ADVC-100 but if you want to go the Cheapest Route I would suggest you get a PCI Capture card with a 10Bit Decoder Chip which you can get for Under $50 and then get a Video stabilizer to remove the Copy Protections which are about another $20-$30.....

    Cheers
