how long doe cinema craft encoder take to convert AVI files

    it must be about 30 mins because
    HELLLLLLLLLLOOOOOO the price of it.

    Just like any other encoder the speed is dependent on your computer (primarily the CPU) and the video being encoded. If you're talking about CCE SP in One Pass Variable Bitrate mode it can be done in less than half time than it takes to watch it. And you can get a much less expensive version ($58). Depending on the video my 2.4GHz P4 can make 2 passes in about the same amount of time it would take to watch it.

    But if ya want to compress a 4 hours down to DVD-R using 20passes it will take a while but the resaults are amazing
