Hi just wondering how long does it normally take for the testing? It now says in c4eva speak that the hitachi is now in testing.

It doesn't usually take that long. A few days up to a couple of weeks, but it's hard to say when it will be released because it depends how the testing goes.

There are like 9 versions of the hitachi phat, so I would think at least the weekend maybe longer. I remember testing for liteon, benq, and samsung was 3 or 4 days.

If it's in testing now, I'd say you'll be flashing it in about a week.

seeing the word testing would not get me excited about this release, since that drive is on its way into extinction, i would guess close to 2 weeks, those drives are and have always been a pain in the butt, so dont expect to see it in just a few days.

Not to mention, that drive is in the smallest amount of XBoxs as far as I know. I've opened a dozen of my friends' XBoxs and I've never even had to deal with an Hitachi, which is likely why that firmware is always behind and comes last.
