    Greetings all...

I currently am using a Plextor PX-716a and Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD+R's.. (have not had any problem burning) my question is how long should a backed up DVD-R last.. i know from previous experience burning cd-r's over time they would either stop working or have glitches.. will the back-ups do the same??? any help on this question would be much appreciated.

    thanks

smoove as long as your using good quality dvds as in TY or Ritek..they will last you your lifetime.they say 100 years is the normal.
