    hello all,
i have a v9 w/ matrix infinity & was wondering how long my ps2 will last me. are there any problems that i need to know about w/ my set up & what care should i take to get the most life out of it. do the matrix chips go bad or ware out.ive read some where about some sort of add on or somthing about the volts from 10 to 5 or somthing like that, will this help make it last longer.

    THANKS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS

with the volts thing i'm assuming your talking about the romeo mod and if your chip was professionally installed the romeo mod was most likly done at the same time as the install and if you use quality media for your backups then your ps2 should last for quite some time

I havent done the Romeo mod on mine. Maybe a bad thing I know, but I have heard that the mod can do just as much bad as good. So I'd rather make sure i'm using good discs and look after them and take my chance. I dont really use my PS2 loads anyway so its probably ok for me.
