If you have mp3's that are about 5 mb each in size(just a rounded figure, I know mp3s vary in size)......how many would fit onto a single DVD-R disk?? The reason I ask, is because I have a music collection of about 800 to 1000 mp3s that are on various media, but I want to put them all on a single DVD-R or two! If you know, please post. Thanks!

5mb is a-lot for an mp3 file (are you sure?). Anyway a DVD disc can take 4.38Gb of data and one gigabyte is 1000mb so 4.38 x 1000 = 4380mb divided by the average, say 5mb = 876 tracks approx. You realise you cannot play mp3 tracks off a DVD - only back them up?
