Hi all, Well, was just browsing through the forums to see fi I could help anyone out and saw a Gmail thread. Then I remebered, damn, I have one of those!! Logged in to check my mails (which I had no new ones of, as I don;t give the addy out lol) and saw I now have 2gig of space!! It started at 1 and they though hey, lets give our users 50invites to get more people and give them all 2GB of space!! OMG, there server room must be feckin huge!! That's it really. Off to enjoy my saturday night. Cheers guys.
hey me too...thats pretty nifty. I hardly use the damn thing though, whenever I do its just to transfer large files between friends. But two gigs of free email space is pretty damn slick.
biggest single file I sent was 32 megs I think, but I've done attachments with multiple files of close to 100 megs
I'm at 5% as of this, I was watching The Screen Saver's "the pre-g4 fiasco" and they showed a program to use gmail like an extra HDD. Pretty cool stuff, had a little desktop icon and everything for it.

That's exactly what I was talking about. Thanks for the link, I lost my bookmark after the merger with g-4.
