    deadreviews,
I am working on the same problem you are. Does Toast work on just a straight copy or is there some sort of encription. When I back-up my dvd's there is an decription step. Is there one with ps2 games or is that what the mod chip does?
    Thanks

Yah when i also try to back up the ps2 games it skips the decription part too, if you need a mod chip for your ps2 what kind would you get or need?

I have been also having problems with toast. I have an imac and fliptop playstation. I was able to back up a cd game and played but I am now trying to backup LOTR: the two towers. I first used a maxel dvd-r but failed to load. Does anybody have a solution out there as to what we are doing wrong?
