I have taken my home movie footage converted through a Dazzle DV 150 which resulted in full DVD compliant MPEG2 file.

Then I used TmpegEnc Author to make DVD files which I burned using Elaborate Bytes CloneDVD which compresses then burns directly.

I forgot and erased the tape and the MPEG file on the hard drive.

Now I wish to backwards convert the DVD vob's to a ful DVD compliant MPEG-2 which I started out with in the first place.

Hope this all makes sense - I'm using a Dell Dimension 4500 2 Ghz processor with 768 Mgs RAM!

Load it into TMPGEnc DVD Author as a DVD-Video. Then click next. Then tick the "copy the clip video data to the HDD" and save it to the hard drive. Then cancel the program. This will give u an mpeg2 file.
