HOW TO BURN COPYRIGHTED CD'S

    Its driving my crazy! How do u burn a cd that says its copyrighted? I have the free trial for 1 month of nero but it says i cant burn what i want becuase its copyrighted. I heard u can put electric tape over something but i dont know what. How do u burn a copyrighted cd? PLEASE RESPOND

    What O/S you running? I have XP, and just use my widows media player.

    And by copyrighted cd are you talking about an audio cd?

    For protected audio CDs the best method is to rip the disc to your hard drive as .wav files and then reburn to disc. MusicMatch has a good reputation for powering it's way through audio CD protections and Exact Audio Copy is another good one to :)

    LOL MusicMatch is ok and occasionally has the spurt of good luck but EAC would be a much better choice all together. Just note that these copy protections are often quite hardware dependant and perhaps the only reason MusicMatch worked for me is because I have a competent drive.
