I have no idea how to back up dvd's and ps2 games...cause the explanations are a little vauge. Do you simply rip from the dvd and then burn to the blank dvd disk? Can i use smartripper and nero 5 to rip and burn both ps2 and back up dvd's? What files do i need to burn, all of them? CUE, BIN, VOB..!?!?! Please tell me how. msn user name sebpetch@hotmail.com
first, ps2 are easy, just do a straight copy disc on the fly. second, if the dvd is smaller than a dvdr then yes it is easy aswell, just press backup on smartripper, let it rip then make sure the folder (video_ts) is in capitals (some standalones are funny about that) then burn. third, if the dvd is bigger than a dvdr you need to look at a few guides on re-encoding to make it fit, there is plenty out there. thingimijig.
