How to delete unfinished bit torrent download

    Hi all,

    I have tried to browse this forum for an answer, but havn't succeded. I am unable to delete unfinished bit torrent downloads. I receive an error message telling me that the program (the file) is in use. What can I do?

    All help is more than welcome.

    reboot your computer into safe mode (when its starting up, keep tapping F5 then select safe mode from list). It will bypass any startup files and im sure you will now be able to delete it!

    No Problem Man :) All that was wrong was the download was probably ended in such a way that it wasnt ended properly so Windows Believed BT was still writing to the file!

    Sounds like a good explanation to me. Anyway, annoying to have a 300+ MB file on the drive not used to anything.

    Nothats not annoying cause its great when its gone BUT what i hate is when you need the files u have and your HDD is nearly full :(
