    Hello
I bought a new slim psTWO premodded with the chip
DMS4 LITE No-Swap Mod Chip in it. I would like to find out how to disable the chip so I can play online.
Also how to enable it back on when not playing online.
    Can any one help me?
    Thanks

if its a solder chip its pretty much permanent unless you want to desolder it, but then its pretty much useless. I was unaware that you can't use a modded PS2 to play online games. I don't play online PS2 games, so I don't know. I've just never heard of it before.

not 100% on this but beleive you have to hold down L1 on pad 1 as the ps2 is booting to disable the chip and the chip will remain disabled till the ps2 is put into standby mode
