How do you disable the parental lock on the PS2 for playing DVDs? I've had my PS2 for several years, and didn't really notice it until now because my DVD player recently died, so I'm using my PS2 to play DVDs. Everytime I put in a R rated DVD, I have to type in a 4 digit code. Luckily I was able to create the code, but I don't want to have to type it in every damn time. I checked in system settings, and in the dvd player program in the memory card, and no luck. Any ideas?

When you put in a dvd movie press select when it loads and press on something like settings. Then look for the password screen and select new password, put in your old 1 and dont put in any for the new 1 and it should be gone.

Okay, I found the setup and was able to change the lock level from 1 to off, and that fixed the problem. Thanks!
