Another question if you dont mind.
If Im trying to load a piece of hardware that
was supported by win95 but no longer supported
by any other OS after that.Is there a way I can access the old .inf files from a win95 cd
to be used on a different os?like on win98se?
thanks for any and all info on this matter.

search for the drivers of that specific hardware device on sites

I know that most of the drivers are on the manufatures web site
But 10% of them are not and sometimes there
on the win95 cd but you cant open up a .cab file
    to get them.
The trick would be to open up a cab file and
    take the driver you want.
If the web doesnt have the driver I need I throw out that piece of hardware and buy a new one.
Too bad I cant acess a Cab file to get my drivers.

    Thanks fro your reply
