I am following the guide on how to convert xvid to dvd but I got an error saying XviD is not a supported type so I downloaded the xvid codec but have no idea how to install the codec for use with TMPGEnc on windows.

I can actually play the movie using real player though, so I am not sure if the codec is already installed :s but anyway i cant open it with TMPGEnc

    any help would be appreciated

    cheers

p.s. if I use nero and click make new movie, then add the divx video, will it convert it into a suitable format to be played on a dvd player that doesn't support Xvid?
