    Hi all,

I have an AVI and a DVD which I need to join into a DVD-R.. The DVD I need to cut the last 3 minutes and join the AVI file and make a DVD with it. First of all, I will explain what I have done.

I used Dvd decrypter for the DVD. Then, used Nero Recode (“Recode DVDs and VIDEOS to Nero Digital”). No problem cutting the last minutes of the DVD and joining the DVD and the AVI and burning to a DVD-R. Problem? Mp4 isn’t compatible with anything (including Nero Showtime)

What can I do? Hope you can find any other solution. Thanks a lot.

    Dan

PD.: I use a Pioneer A105 for burning, and I use Princo for DVD-R.

You need a dvd authoring software like tmpgenc. I would convert the avi to dvd first then cut the frames out of the dvd you don't want then join together.Tmpgenc should be able to assist you with all.For any films i can not convert from avi to dvd with tmpgenc i use winavi.Hope this helps you out a bit.
