I have some MTS video files and I want to join into 1 file and export to play on galaxy note 4. Considering galaxy note 4's high resolution, I obviously like the best quality :) what is the best format to convert to? Should I do this in iMovie or would I get a better result using another app (free, preferably) and what settings should I apply?

    Thanks for you help!

    Happy Thanksgiving! btw

You could try macx video converter to join the video files together and transcode the .mts to an .mp4 file using one of the presets. Galaxy Note 4 will be able to read .mp4 files with H.264 codec.

I'm using imedia converter for mac, it has a "merge into one file" icon on main interface. For note 4, youcan simple find a samsung>samsung galaxy note in output list.
