    my drive is: lg gsa-4163b
the problem is that i have to burn dvd at 1x,but the minium that the programs such as nero, alcohol or decrypter is 4x.
for example, using verbatim dvd-r 8x,the minium that i can choose is 4x,trough sony dvd-r 4x,the minium is only 4x,but never 1x.is there a chance to limit the speed?
ps:DVD Decrypter let me choose 1x,but then the real speed increase from 1x to 4x stable.
    help!
    :(

Much of the burning speed is regulated by the blank disc rated speed. I don't know if you can find 1x rated blank discs anymore. You should be able to find some 2x rated discs.
