    Hey guys,

I searched for this and found some threads that touched on this but not exactly what I was doing so thought I would ask. Here is what I would like to do

I have been using DVDFAB to rip dvds and put them in a folder so that I can use Windows Media Center on a computer hooked up to the TV via HDMI to play movies. Using the DVD Copy method will create a .xml file which will allow WMC to grab cover art and summaries from the net, creating a virtual dvd library. Ok, here's the problem, DVDFAB Always removes DTS audio no matter what. I have a great sound system and want to get lossless audio with my dvd rips. But I also don't want to give up making the .xml file so WMC can pull the info from the net. If anyone is successfully doing this already or has any ideas on how I can successfully rip a dvd to the hard drive without losing sound quality and still create an xml file for WMC, please chime in.

    Thanks

dvdfab will only remove audio you have selected to remove,it sounds like its set to use only the first audio stream, use settings to select all

Ok, so where in the settings is that? I looked in DVD Copy settings and audio in general section and don't see any option like that.

look for streams in either v8 or v9,using customize rip will obviously allow un-selecting un-required audio

I also have this problem. My colleague uses BDMagic to copy out a Video_TS folder, it works fine. But I don' t really like video_ts folders as it's not so good to manage in my media library. Any other recommendations?

start your own topic & provide as much info as you can regarding what you want to achieve.Well you can place them in an iso container or convert them into an mkv format. The other person also may not realize that the program only defaults to ts but is capable of creating other formats
