Can someone explain to me how to run c&c w/o the cd? I'm currently making an image of cd1 using alcohol 120, but it is pretty large and I'm not sure if it will work (still copying now). I remember doing this b4 for another game and stopping the copy process at some point in order to keep the image size down... Thanks in advance.
For the image to run properly you need the entire disc on your hard drive. Stopping it early to keep the size down isn't likely to work well. The process is pretty easy - let A120 rip the entire image (setting the read speed to 4X or so will help accuracy) then when the image is ripped enable a virtual drive through A120, enable the correct emulation depending on the protection being used and if the rip is good it should run.
