How to recombine m2v and mpa into AVI file.

    (1) I no longer have my original AVI file, but I do have the m2v and mpa files.
    (2) I need the AVI file for a family slide show in ProShow Producer (which accepts avi and wmv files).
    (3) For those AVI files I do have, I am currently cutting the small clips I need for the slide show by using TMPGEnc XPress (works fine).
    (4) I tried Mr Google but all the info talks about going from AVI to m2v/mpa, not the other way around.
    (5) Any suggestions ??

    Thanks in advance.

OK, have found solution using TMPGEnc XPress, under Tools Menu / MPEG tools / Multiplexer.

This tool lets me combine video and audio files into a single mpeg output.

    All Good.
