how to remove the copy protection in ps2 games?

    how can i remove it? i saw a burned game and it had some sort of burn on the copy protection.....is this what is done to these games? please respond

    Well I think the software you use to copy the disk will get by the copy protection that's on the disk. I've used both Nero and DVD decrypter on copy protected games and had no trouble.

    the only copy protection on ps2 games is bad sectors, which your burner cannot reproduce. That is why you need some sort of mod.

    actualy.... the games have 4 protections...

    1) the regular copy protection - can be found on cd's... takes sometimes 10 mins to copy a cd... makes it read slow and has atleast 17 reading errors... and the toc changed add a gap in some sectors...

    2) software checks - some games proven to check themself to see it's original or not...

    3) DNAS - wont let you go online with a backup...

    4) sony sectors - the barcodes that are printed on the dvd or cd cant be backuped...

    you can overcome only 3 of them the DNAS is still unbeatble...
