How to save vcd to computer

    How do I save the mpeg file from a vcd to my computer.I've done it before using tmpgenc,just dont remember how..

    The movie is a VCD is not a 'true MPEG' file, but is a 'riff file'. To remove its header, use VCDGear. Choose 'dat --> mpeg' and convert D:\AVSEQ01.DAT (AVSEQ02.DAT,....AVSEQ0N.DAT if you have N movies on the same VCD) into C:\your_directory\your_movie.mpg. Mplayers can watch a .DAT file (use the excellent and freeware BSPlayer, for example), bur .MPG is better anyway (and a little, -1.24%, smaller).
