As for removing the Windows FTP server, i have no iudea because I've never used it mate sorry. You are on a network ye? well ill assume one computer has an internet connection it shares with all the others? Well that computer is the only computer you can use for an FTP server to be accessed by people from the internet!

You can remove the Windows FTP via Control-->Add/Remove --> Windows Config --> Same place you installed it
