how to use HDTV as Monitor ?

    hello everyone

    I want to use my old HDTV as monitor, but when i connect it to the PC , i got a message " video mode not supported". could someone show me how to set up HDTV for monitor ? thank you in advance.

    You are probably running a video resolution on your PC that the TV doesn't support.

    1)Find out what video resolutions are supported on the TV and set the video card accordingly.

    2)Set the video card to the lowest supported resolution that gives you a picture on the TV and work upwards from there.
