I know this might not be the best place to speak of this but I need to know if anybody tried hp discs for ps2 backups. I have a nice deal for a spindle of 50 discs and I can't find any near me so I can't simply buy one to test it on my ps2. If you tried them on your ps2 please tell if it worked and any information that could help me figure if I would have any problems with them. I have a Toshiba SD-R272 Dual Format 8x (with 2mb of cache), a v4 ps2 modded with a duo (not duo2) chip and I am currently using Memorex DVD+R and Verbatim DVD-R discs without any problems but these are quite expensive over here.

EDIT: I really need this information. I don't want to waste more money on another spindle of 50 useless DVDs like I did when I bought those freaking LeadData discs.
