hi, i recently got this g60 laptop for free with a "bad screen"
i ordered a new screen and put it in and the problem is still there, so the "bad screen" is this. dark colors have a green tint or hue, the colors are wrong, on start up the black background with hp logo is bright green, i have some pics to show. any help would be appreciated thanks.

Could be the video card is bad? You could try updating the video card drivers. Or at least uninstall the drivers and reinstall the drivers fresh. They could be corrupted. Look for red or yellow flags on your Device Manager under the Control Panel.

see what the colors look like in the bios as if still screwed up then not a driver problem but onboard video chip problem that cannot be replaced.
