Huge problem with video playback in media center!!!!!!

    I use dvd shrink to back up my movies on my hard drive evry media player on my computer can read the files that shink generates right from the hard drive is there any way to read the video files in windows media center without converting to other formats please respond anyone if you have figured this out kyeair@yahoo.com

    If yo have ever ripped a dvd useing dvd shrink you would know that in the folder were the video files are saved there in a vob format windows media player sees this file like if you had actually placed a dvd in the player im trying to get media center to do the same thing

    if your speaking of a windows media center edition o/s - that is the biggest rip off m$ has come up with yet . oh wait ..longhorn is in the process though right -- i smell more bull..
